This album is the result of work by the members of Mortuary Beach, with help from others, during one rotation of the earth around the sun. It is separated into two parts. The dark and light, waste and rebirth.

Drain:

Bloom:
Columbia, Azov, Erie, The Salish Sea

We all have two sides, two faces, maybe even live two lives. While these two parts are distinguishable, there are common threads through both. We all love, lose, live, and die. Arpeggiated bass lines, classic drum machines, wet guitars, and soulful vocals tie together two otherwise disparate planes.
